Pharmacological Effects:
Gastroprotective agent, a synthetic analogue of PgE1. Increases the formation of protective mucus and bicarbonate, enhances blood flow in the mucosa. Accelerates the healing of erosions, stomach ulcers and 12 duodenal ulcer, in some cases can prevent their formation. Exerting a direct effect on gastric parietal cells, inhibits basal, nocturnal, stimulated (food, histamine, pentagastrin) secretion of HCl. Reduces the basal (but not stimulated by histamine) produce pepsin. The action begins in 30 minutes and lasts at least 3-6 hours at a dose 50 mcg effects are mild and short, 200 mg - expressed. Increases the frequency and force of contraction of the myometrium, the smooth muscle of the intestine.


Indications:
Erosion of the digestive tract, peptic ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer, erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract during therapy with drugs (prevention and treatment).


Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, childhood and adolescence (18 years). C care. Arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, stroke, atherosclerosis of brain vessels, koronarokardioskleroz, epilepsy, enterocolitis, diarrhea.


Side effects:

Dosage and administration:

Special instructions:
The appointment of women of reproductive age should carry out pre-serum pregnancy test, which should remain negative during the 2 weeks before taking the drug. Interaction:
When combined with Mg2 +-containing antacids may increase diarrhea. Meals, antacids reduce the concentration of misoprostol acid in plasma (clinically insignificant).
